Everyone loves a parade, especially a BOOK parade. Instead of a Halloween celebration, Caleb and Ryan's school does a book parade. All of the students dress up like their favorite book character and March around the inside and outside of the school. Caleb's 3rd grade class was reading the book "High Tide in Hawaii" so all of his class dressed up in Hawaiian attire.
Ryan LOVES the book "There's a Wocket in My Pocket" by Dr. Suess. So he wore a shirt that said "there's a wocket" on the front and "in my pocket" on the back. And of course I sewed him up a little "wocket" to stuff in his back pocket. He looked just like the little boy on the cover of the book. (except no hair)
