This is a blog about our family and all of the "busy-ness" of our lives from homeschooling to vacations to emergency room visits. We hope you enjoy your visit here.
Today Ryan and I and the rest of the Kindergarten went on a fieldtrip to Sunrock Farms. It is a very neat place. We fed the goats, sat in a TeePee, held baby chicks, and even milked a goat.
ok so what do people do with goat's milk? just make cheese? i dont think i've ever heard of anybody having a glass of goat's milk with their oreo's. ya know? does it taste different or something?
The farmer lady that was showing us around said that you can drink goats milk, but it is VERY rich. Then one of the parents on the trip said "not as rich as camel milk though" I think I'll stick with skim (from a cow)
We are the Scotts. There are five of us mom, dad, and three boys. We also have a dog named Bella and a bearded dragon named Dr. Phrill. We are a homeschooling family who loves being in nature and spending time with family & friends, but above all we love God and strive to serve him. Hope you enjoy sharing our adventures with us.
